Tim Fisher and his team welcome you to The Stone Trough Inn. With almost 20 years of experience, including a stint at The Star Inn, Harome, Steve Russell has joined us as head chef. The Stone Trough Inn is a traditional English country pub, serving a variety of Yorkshire ales. Set in picturesque surroundings overlooking Kirkham Abbey and the river Derwent, the Stone Trough is between York and Scarborough, close to Castle Howard, famed as the setting of television's Brideshead Revisited.

The Stone Trough is now building a formidable reputation for its à la carte menu as well as its traditional bar meals.
