With an unbeatable view overlooking the Howardian Hills, Tim Fisher & his team welcome you to The Stone Trough Inn. Tim previously managed The White Swan hotel in Pickering for 7 years and is delighted to be running this charming pub. We are open all day, every day, and offer fabulous food prepared by our chefs Gary & Conor who have around 40 years experience between them and delight in presenting good quality home cooked food using locally sourced ingredients. We will endeavour to ensure your visit to us is enjoyable.

The Stone Trough Inn is a traditional English country pub, serving a variety of Yorkshire Ales. Set in picturesque surroundings overlooking Kirkham Priory and the river Derwent, we are between York and Scarborough, close to Castle Howard, most famous as the setting of the television program and film, Brideshead Revisited.
The Stone Trough is now building a formidable reputation for its à la carte menu as well as its traditional bar meals.

The Stone Trough is available for private lunches, dinners, wedding receptions and parties for up to 100 people.
